How do we keep our artistic enthusiasm alive? With Artistic Fresh Air! The Spokane Watercolor Society was founded in 1952 by a group of 12 professional artists. Our new SWS members have given us a breath of fresh air — Artistic Fresh Air. This exhibit is to showcase their talents and honor their contribution to the SWS. Stop by the Liberty Gallery in the Historic Liberty Building at 203 N. Washington St this June to see their work ~ stop by the First Friday Reception on June 5 from 5-8pm to meet the artists!
Sherry Syrie is a mixed media artist and middle school art educator who is currently exploring abstract mixed media landscapes. She finds interesting images & materials to piece together in unique ways to create clean, beautiful, and original pieces.
Suzan LeDoux is a printmaker whose work is primarily inspired by the natural world and the beauty of flora & fauna. Through carving, she aims to capture the textures we observe in nature, and the intricate details that often go unnoticed.

The Gallery Entropy (101 N Stevens) presents Objets Vibrant: The Te of Trash. A solo exhibition by Dario Ré that explores material animacy through found art and assemblage. Show runs through June 29.
This meeting takes place on ZOOM and not at Auntie's Bookstore.
We will be discussing “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald at the June meeting.

Come see one of the best bluegrass bands in the Inland Northwest for free every Wednesday from 9:00-11:00.
Every fourth Wednesday a group of people converge in an appropriate setting. This diverse group of creative individuals share a love of education, and are here to promote their skills, to educate, and to socialize. Visit! You won't be pressure to become a member, but will have the opportunity to do so. Ignore the old people in the photo. The younger members were appalled and hid.

ALL ARTISTS in Spokane and the surrounding areas are invited to the June 24th meeting of the River Ridge Association of Fine Arts as a guest. You will meet other artists, hear an educational presentation (after all the business stuff is taken care of!), and learn of the opportunities RRAFA offers to its members. You will be invited (but not pressured) to become a member to take advantage of the showing and learning activities RRAFA offers. Dues are only $30 a year. We meet on the 4th Wednesday of every month at Spokane Art Supply, 1303 N Monroe, Spokane.
